Argentina triumphs at Decanter World Wine Awards 2011

The release of Decanter Magazines 2001 award winners means more great news for Argentina and Mendoza!

Argentina has once again cemented its position as a top wine producer by winning more coveted International Trophies than any other country at the 2011 Decanter World Wine Awards.

A total of 6 International Trophies were awarded to Argentina, with wines from Mendoza being considered the best Red Single Varietal under 10 and the best Red Blend over 10 in the world.  

Three additional Regional Trophies were also awarded to wines from Mendoza: Argentina Malbec under 10, Argentina Red Bordeaux Varietal over 10, and Red Single Varietal over 10 respectively.
